Impedance Calculation

With PCBWay impedance calculator, you can calculate the approximate impedance of your PCB / high frequency circuit board. The surface finish is neglected. We recommend the software from Polar Instruments if you want to get exact impedance calculation.
Note: The results are only for approximation and rough estimation, the final values and the corresponding layer construction have to be calculated by us. The stackup information check here.

Note: For the three models — Microstrip, Edge Coupled, and Coplanar Waveguide, the outer layer impedance testing does not include the solder mask. If your design involves solder mask, we recommend using Shortcut to Si9000 software for calculation.
