PPS-CF is a carbon fiber reinforced polyphenylene sulfide composite. Thanks to the properties of polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) resin itself and the reinforcing effect of carbon fiber, PPS-CF has excellent solvent resistance, corrosion resistance, heat resistance, flame retardancy, strength, stiffness, dimensional stability, etc., and is a special engineering plastic that can meet the application needs of engineering plastics in reflushing.

Material shortcomings

The surface coating and coloring are more difficult, the impact toughness and elongation at break are low, and the price is higher.

It also has a saturated water absorption rate as low as 0.05%, ensuring that its mechanical and thermal properties are not affected by moisture.
