PETG-CF
4.0 (1 Reviews) 50 orders
Material type: Plastic
PETG-CF, short for carbon fiber reinforced polyethylene terephthalate-copolyester, is a high-performance composite material made by incorporating carbon fiber filaments into a traditional PETG plastic matrix. It perfectly combines the excellent properties of PETG with the reinforcement effect of carbon fiber.

Material advantages
PETG-CF significantly improves the rigidity of standard PETG while enhancing strength and toughness, making it suitable for load-bearing and functional components. It also significantly reduces clumping and wire drawing issues compared to traditional PETG. It has a unique carbon fiber texture and has a higher gloss than PLA-CF, making it suitable for outdoor use.
Material shortcomings
The addition of carbon fiber improves the stiffness and hardness of the material, but reduces its toughness and impact resistance. It is difficult to grind, and it is difficult to cut or trim with ordinary hand tools; surface roughness, the finished surface of the print usually has a distinct carbon fiber texture.
Recommended description
PETG-CF is a "built for function" material with extreme rigidity and dimensional stability, excellent surface texture and appearance, whether you are an engineer seeking to create functional prototypes; Artists who pursue the creation of high-quality models; Amateurs or amateurs, PETG-CF is the ideal choice.
