How Engineer Questions Response Delays Impact Design Lead Time

For design orders, we provide an initial estimate of the lead time for each stage when preparing the quotation. During the design process, after each stage is completed, we will open an Engineering Questions (EQ) to either send files for customer confirmation or discuss design-related questions.


If we do not receive a timely response to an EQ, the system lead time will be delayed accordingly. This is because effective communication during the design phase is essential — project lead time depends not only on our design team's progress but also on the efficiency of communication between both parties.


To avoid unnecessary delays, please respond to EQ emails from your sales representative as quickly as possible. If you notice an EQ of the order in your account page, we recommend checking your email or contacting your sales representative directly. This will help prevent delays in the design process and ensure on-time sample delivery.
